ARRIVAL TIMES
Candlelight – Please arrive to the Worship Center between 8:15pm and 8:30pm
Closing – Please arrive between 4:15pm and 4:30pm. The Community needs to enter through the Community Center doors and proceed to the Banquet rooms.
AGAPE ROOM
For both men’s and women’s walks, we need 38
pieces of agape for bedtime and 63 pieces for meals. It is helpful
if you indicate the number of pieces in each package. Consider
listing only your share group meeting time and place on your agape
as a form of humble servanthood.
Agape (not letters) from the community is
first distributed to the pilgrims at bedtime on Friday. Team
members may receive agape each night. Table leaders and clergy
also receive letters before talks. Please specify on the envelope
the day you wish the agape to be delivered. When writing multiple
agape letters, please help us by alphabetizing them prior to
placing them in a bundle.
Community, please include last names when addressing agape letters.
Community, please specify on the envelope if the Agape is for a Team member and/or if it is for a pre-talk.
Agape pieces should be put in the wooden Agape boxes or in the Agape room.
Please do not put Agape on the Pilgrims beds.
The agape room must be dismantled Saturday
night. It would be great if you would drop off your agape before
candlelight. Sponsors who are holding their pilgrim’s agape, but
have not dropped it off by the Saturday morning of the walk, please notify our Agape Chairperson.
Sponsors, also notify our Agape Chairperson if your pilgrim is unable to attend a walk.
See current Agape Chair here.
No Photos Please
As an act of agape, it has been requested that no photographs be taken in the Worship Center during the Saturday
evening Emmaus Candlelight service or the Sunday afternoon Closing
ceremonies.
The taking of photographs can be a distraction to all present.
Please remember that from the moment the first pilgrim arrives on Thursday evening to the conclusion of the fellowship meal on Sunday after Closing, our attention and focus should remain on the men and women God has called to a given weekend. Thank you for your cooperation.
